If you want to quickly access your unread messages in Gmail you can do so by typing "is:unread label:inbox" into the search box at the top of the page and clicking "Search Mail". This will list all of your unread messages.

You can also create a Quick Link that will allow you to access your unread messages even more quickly. To create a quick link:
- Click on "Settings" in Gmail
- Go to the "Labs" tab
- Enable the "Quick Links", feature

This will add a "Quick Links" box to your sidebar. Now type in “is:unread” in the search box and press enter. Then click on "Add Quick Link" in the Quick Links box, and choose a name for it.

HAHA, who would have guessed that! Where did you get that trick? Is there an online Google mail Manual that I missed?
